Affirmative Action Office
The Southern Regional High School District prohibits all forms of discrimination and illegal harassment against students and staff based upon race, creed, color, national origin, nationality, ancestry, age, sex (including pregnancy), familial status, marital status, domestic partnership status, affectional or sexual orientation, atypical hereditary cellular or blood trait, genetic information, liability for military service, and mental or physical disability, perceived disability, and AIDS and HIV status.
The Affirmative Action Office, in conjunction with district administration, ensures that our classrooms and workplaces are free from discrimination and illegal harassment. Among the Affirmative Action Officer's many duties, the Officer investigates alleged discriminatory conduct, provides conflict resolution counseling, conducts comprehensive training in discrimination and harassment law and promotes the principles of inclusion, diversity, and equal employment opportunity.
